Aaron Frias
Where are you originally from?: Phoenix or Rancho Cucamonga, CA depending how far back you wanna go
Where do you live now?: Boulder, Colorado
What types of bikes do you ride/race?: Road and Gravel
Favorite type of cow: Um, patty?
Favorite cow fact: Cows will go up stairs but not down. Learned this in HS when someone pulled a prank. I think I embody this in my uphill to downhill riding preference.
Favorite cow pun: What do you call a cow with no spots? A Moo-tant
How are you going to make hay this year?: Hay is for Cows?! I have a few races lined up (foco and sbt) and already completed on in Mallorca. I'd like to be able to do those events working with others to see what we can accomplish. On a day to day basis I'd just like to be an good example of a cow and bring that to the groups around me.
What does inclusivity mean to you?: Engaging. It could be asking a random person how their ride is going at a stop, saying good pull or nice sprint after you get beat (or beat them) but anything so the people around you know they aren't out there doing this alone.
How will you be larking this year?: Adventure rides! There is a time for racing but there is also a time for bikepacking and spending long days just enjoying the people around you. I've made some of the best connections riding through the worst of things on these kinds of rides.
Thinking about our value, Kit Matters: socks over or under leg warmers?: Holy cow kit? Over, gotta show off the spots
