Lauren Quesada
Where are you originally from?: Bainbridge Island, Washington
Where do you live now?: Fort Collins, CO
What types of bikes do you ride/race?: Road Bikes!
Favorite type of cow: Beefalo
Favorite cow fact: The Beefalo is a hybrid between cattle and buffalo! Cattalo is a general term for any cow-buffalo hybrid, but Beefalo is a *specific* recognized hybrid.
Favorite cow pun: What did they call the afraid cow? A cow-herd!
How are you going to make hay this year?: Help grow the Fort Collins herd and break into the cycling community -- as a new rider, I have a lot to learn and am eager to hear from others!
What does inclusivity mean to you?: To me, it means recognizing diversity and how we can learn from others unlike ourselves -- eagerly broadening our perspective knowing we are growing in the best ways when we do so. If they want to ride, let's do it! If they need a bike, let's find them one. And if they need to learn how to use it, let's teach them. Everyone has something valuable to contribute to the herd.
How will you be larking this year?: Exploring my new home in Colorado on two wheels, and of course, all the breweries it has to offer too.
Thinking about our value, Kit Matters: socks over or under leg warmers?: Socks over - and they better be good! Show those suckers off.
